Project control and approval management constituted the main part of my duties during my employment at a renowned engineering where I was an authorized signatory for a period of 15 years. I dealt primarily with projects requiring licensing and approval procedures in accordance with German legislation governing
- Emission control, waste and industry
- Waterways and dikes
- Buildings and
- Railways
I have been self-employed since May 2001, continuing with this successful business, assisting builders and general contractors with project and approval management for new projects as well as modifications to existing plants. Moreover, I carry out qualification measures for companies striving for certification in compliance with the ordinance on specialized waste management companies or the ordinance on environmental management.(EMAS, ISO 14001) ). I assist the companies with preparation for the audits. It is my aim to introduce practical integral management systems into companies who pay particular attention to the needs of their employees. I act as the company representative for companies who cannot afford to appoint their own personal representative. This is a role for which I am well qualified, having gained several years of experience as an expert employed as the manager of an inspection authority in compliance with German legislation (Article 26/ 28 of the BImSchG). - 1976-1988: Goepfert, Reimer & Partner, Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, Hamburg and the Institüt für Gewässerschutz und Umgebungsüberwachung (IGU ) (Institute for water pollution control and supervision of the environment). Scope of duties: emission and immission technology, role as expert, in charge of the laboratory and head of the official inspection authority in compliance with German legislation, Article 26/28 of BImSchG and 13. BImSchV (pertaining to large combustion plants).
